Expanding screen installations
Options

If you wish to expand your existing screen installations, there are many options. This depends on a customer’s wishes and the structural condition of the greenhouse. The most common expansions are with assimilation screens, energy screens and shade screens. A number of variations are, of course, possible:

Assimilation screens

Where legislation requires that green houses have zero light emissions, screens that prevent light emissions keep ambient light inside.

Energy screens

Placing a second screen beneath the existing screen will improve the installation of the greenhouse. This saves energy and contributes to a better climate. This benefits the environment and results in substantial cost savings.

Shade screens

The installation of a summer cloth ensures that the air can pass through it, but it softens sunlight intensity to ensure an optimum climate.

SchermNed Methodology

We start with an on-site visit to decide what is and isn’t possible (structurally and in accordance with legislation). If there is insufficient space we will come up with a solution using the same wire bed.

If the structure of the greenhouse isn’t suitable we will consider what can be done to make it so.

We provide a comprehensive quote and calculation and discuss this during a personal meeting.

Subsidies are often available to help reduce the costs and can sometimes cover as much as 25% of the purchase price.

In principle, we always install in between the plants. Therefore, they do not have to be removed.
